Accessibility Statement

This page describes the accessibility status of this website and how to report an accessibility issue. It is reviewed and updated periodically.

Accessibility Standard

This website has been developed and reviewed with reference to Israel Standard SI 5568 (based on WCAG 2.0) and the accessibility regulations issued under the Equal Rights for Persons with Disabilities Law, 5758-1998.

An accessibility review covering all pages of this website, in both Hebrew and English, was carried out against the WCAG 2.1 Level A and Level AA success criteria, combining automated testing with manual review of keyboard operation, screen reader compatibility, and visual presentation. The website has undergone this accessibility review, and accessibility improvements have been implemented based on its findings.

Accessibility Features

The following accessibility features have been implemented on this website:

  • Keyboard access. Every interactive element, including the homepage's rotating image carousel and the other image carousels on the site, can be operated using a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator.
  • Automatically rotating content. The homepage's image carousel can be paused by moving keyboard focus or a mouse pointer onto it, and its automatic rotation is disabled entirely for visitors whose system is set to reduce motion.
  • Skip link and focus management. A "skip to main content" link is available at the top of every page, and moving between pages returns keyboard focus to the new page's main content.
  • Screen reader support. Pages use a single main heading and a logical heading structure, semantic landmarks for navigation and page regions, and semantic list markup for numbered content. Meaningful images have descriptive text alternatives, and purely decorative visual elements — including images, icons, and large decorative numerals used as background styling on some pages — are hidden from assistive technology.
  • Forms. The contact form's fields have associated labels, validation errors are linked to their fields and move keyboard focus to the first invalid field, and submission outcomes are announced to screen reader users.
  • Color contrast. Text color contrast across the site was reviewed and corrected to meet WCAG's minimum contrast requirements.
  • Bilingual, bidirectional layout. The website fully supports right-to-left presentation for Hebrew and left-to-right presentation for English, including mirrored navigation and correct text direction throughout.
